Have you ever had a crap day? And then, something happens, and you shift out of that, almost straight away.
That has happened a lot to me in the past couple of years and I see it as a sign that the Universe has my back. Early last year, I had one of those big zigzag moments. This was before I started to make digital journals and planners. To boost my energy, I walked to a coffee shop in my neighbourhood to do ‘people watching’, have a coffee and write in my Gratitude Journal. It helped a little bit, but I felt like crying and thought to myself: I don't know what to do, how should I move forward, and what am I supposed to do with my life! I finished the coffee and started to walk home. As I was walking I heard a voice saying: Look down! Look down! I did, and I saw this tiny flat plastic minion that probably would have been on a keychain. As I looked down I started laughing because it was so funny! I picked the minion up, took it home, cleaned it and put it on my kitchen bench. Suddenly, the energy shifted, and I almost forgot what I was sad and worried about. Another time a similar thing happened. I wanted to learn more about how to connect with God and the Universe and how to talk to my angels. This was about 10 years ago. 20 years prior, I had started a similar journey but had no understanding of the importance of protecting myself. Back then, I opened up to everything and attracted negative entities, I got scared and shut it out for 20 years. So back to ten years ago. I had the urge to give it a go again, to connect to the light source, God the Creator again, and learn to talk to angels. As I was thinking about this and cleaning my garage, a book fell out of a box of books I was going to give to a second-hand store. This book is called ‘Angel Speak - How To Talk With Your Angels’ by Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold. Exactly the book and a revisit I needed at the time! This book did help me to connect with my Angels and also my star family. (More my podcast out Ascension Talk With Yenny, episode 1) I believe we receive signs from the Universe all the time. Sometimes we don't see them, sometimes we do. Sometimes it might show itself with a minion on the ground, someone giving you a smile or a book falling out of a box. The magic is that everything like that happens. It's free. And it's just for you to receive only if you want to. You just have to be open to see it.
Recently, I had the urge to write my parents. It wasn't anything grand or earth-shattering, just a simple, genuine appreciation for all they've done for me throughout the years. So, I did what felt natural—I wrote them a letter.
This is what I wrote. (Translated from Swedish to English) To my Mom and Dad, I wanted to write this letter and say how much I appreciate you. You have always been there for me and Charles (my brother) always supported us when we needed it. You have always encouraged me to walk my path and learn from my mistakes. You have never judged me or told me what I have to do, or what to become when I ‘grow up’, and for that, I love you so much. I feel I have won the lottery to have you as parents. And I'm so grateful for everything you have, and everything you do for me and wish I could be as good a parent as you one day. I love you so much and look forward to seeing you in July.” Yenny It may seem like a simple gesture, but for me, writing letters is always a positive cleansing ritual — a Feng-Shui cleanse on paper! Over the years, I've turned to letter writing as a form of therapy— a way to confront unresolved feelings, mend broken relationships, and celebrate the beauty of connection and everyday life. Whether it's expressing gratitude to loved ones, reconciling with estranged friends, or even acknowledging my shortcomings, putting pen to paper has always been a source of healing. One of the most liberating aspects of letter writing is that it doesn't always require sending. Sometimes, the act of writing itself is enough and sometimes I even burn the physical letter.
✨Something that has completely changed my life for the better is affirmations. This, combined with books, seminars, listening to inspiring podcasts, and daily gratitude practise, has made a great positive impact on my life. For me, affirmations are short, powerful statements that reflect what you want to achieve or become. By repeating them regularly, you're sending positive signals to your mind, and, trust me, the mind is a powerful thing! ✨ Here's why affirmations are a game-changer in my life:
✨In a world filled with negativity and self-doubt, affirmations are like a ray of sunshine that brightens my day. They've helped me become a happier, more confident, and more successful version of myself. So, why not give them a try? Start your day with a few positive statements and see how they transform your life. 😊✨❤️ Yenny Noosa, Australia ✨ ✨ Here is a share of my recent adventures in the world of gratitude, inspiration, and personal growth. Even as someone who preaches the power of gratitude and has created Gratitude Digital Journals, I occasionally find myself falling off the gratitude waggon. It's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of life and forget what truly matters. So, last week, I decided to get back on track and reignite my gratitude practice. Below are a couple of things that happened when I started to practice gratitude again: ✨ Reconnecting with Books One of the many things was rediscovering my love for books again. It had been ages since I'd set foot in a library, and when I finally did, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of criminal novels, some inspirational and some spiritual books. Among the gems I found was a book by Dolores Cannon titled "The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth." Reading it reminded me of my purpose and why I'm here - a topic worth exploring in a future episode. I also found some of my favourite Swedish Noir criminal novel authors, especially Camilla Lackberg. Her books are hard to put down! I also found an amazing inspiring book by author Mari Andrew called “My Inner Sky, On embracing day, night and all the times in between.” ✨ The Artist's Way to Creativity As I continued, I realised that writing was a vital part of it. However, I'd often find myself starting but then losing my creative flow. A friend introduced me last year to "The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity" by Julia Cameron. This book is a source of creative inspiration and a practical guide for discovering and recovering your creative self. I committed to writing every morning, and, at the time of writing this, I'm on day 28, which, as they say, is when a habit begins to form. ✨Embracing Health and Fitness Gratitude has always had a way of creating a ripple effect in my life. It also sparked a desire to focus on my physical well-being. A couple of weeks ago, I walked past a local gym and decided to take a peek. To my surprise, they were offering a free month of sessions with no sign-up fee. I joined, and, as of now, I'm in my sixth or seventh week of spinning classes 2-3 times a week. It is exhausting but fun! ✨ Securing My Sanctuary Finding an affordable rental in Australia can be quite challenging, and I have been lucky so far to have a place to call home. I just signed a lease for another year this week, and the rent increase was much more manageable this time. I couldn't be happier about my lovely spot in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. I feel so lucky to live here! ✨ Connecting with Amazing People I have found that the more you work on yourself, the more you connect with like-minded people. These connections often happen for a reason. ✨ Audiobooks Galore I'm an avid fan of books, but audiobooks have a special place in my heart. I just discovered that Spotify has released over 120,000 audiobooks here in Australia! Now, I'm speeding through them to absorb as much knowledge and inspiration as I can! No more boring car drives! ✨ Crafting a Bucket List Journal One of the recent sparks of inspiration was creating a bucket list journal. I'm currently working on a printable version as well as a digital edition for iPad and Android users. Stay tuned! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ To tie it all together, I want to leave you with a powerful message from the one and only Robert Edward Grant. (See YouTube video below) He delves into the concepts of “mentalism” and gratitude, emphasising the importance of what we think and believe, which creates our reality. He also highlights the role of gratitude in raising our vibrations and countering fear. And most importantly, he encourages us to remember why we're here. Have you ever considered your purpose and what truly lights up your life? For me, it's about sharing stories, spreading joy, and raising vibrations. It's about the little things that make life shine. Until next time, keep shining and embracing the beauty of life! ✨ 💗 Yenny 💫 Pssst 💫 - If you would like to know more about my product updates, receive monthly freebies, my podcast and upcoming courses, make sure you subscribe to my 💌 NEWSLETTER 💌 A great TED talk by Robert Edward Grant, as mentioned in my latest podcast show. |
